sqlcode -901 sqlstate 58004

sqlcode -901 sqlstate 58004

i get this error when i do the following

1. strqm (works ok)

2. f12 (ok still)

3. strqm

when i have commitment control set to *chg this i can't run sql

statements in strsql .

how do i check sql system settings or does anyone know what causes this

?

      For -901 call support. I this DB2 for zOS or iSeries btw?

    • it is an iseries running v5r2 all the latest ptfs , if i take off the

      *chg using f13 everything is ok until i enable it again .if i use

      crtqmqry and then try to run strqmqry it also falls over with the error

      above no matter what i try .

    • i have just noticed as well that when i connect using strsql and then

      press f12 and type strsql again it connects to the wrong server .
